- As of 2/22 I weigh 152 pounds. I'm hoping that eventually sooner rather than later I will get my shrinking but back down to 120 lbs.

Oh dear bLOG! I forgot about you. :(
As I had forgotten about this blog, and my efforts to keep track of what I was eating, last week I ate 1000000 calories. I really don't know actually because I wasn't keeping track, but that looks like a pretty accurate number. I made a planner that I have decided that I would use everyday. I think it will help me keep up with the cals. I also looked up how many calories I need to consume each day to reach my goal weight of 120 lbs. by July, ...... drum roll 1200 calories a day! I am going to starve to death, almost literally. Maybe I can stick with it, just maybe. Please send good thoughts my way on my endeavor. So this next week is going to find me grouchy desperately searching for low calorie, and filling things to eat.

Doing Better
Yesterday was much, much better than the day before. I didn't have time for breakfast and I split my lunch into two meals, although it was fried chicken and mashed potatoes, that was all I had for lunch and supper. So while my metabolism probably took a hit, my calorie count should have been pretty low! Today though, I had a cupcake that I had baked earlier this week for breakfast and I'm already starving again, so I probably wont be able to eat healthy for lunch. I am going to the gym tonight, and my Friday workouts are usually pretty sweaty, so maybe that will make up for my bad habits. On Friday I run and walk alternately with varying inclines for at least five miles, then I do core strength training, and my upper arms. I usually feel pretty good after this work out. I don't know if it is just because the weekend is coming, but I LOVE my Friday workouts. I usually have to make myself stop. Cant wait til tonight!

Grocery Shopping Like Nick
Yesterday was a bust. I didn't work, I didn't work out, but I did some house work that I hate. I had a BBQ sandwich and onion rings for supper which probably shot my calorie count for yesterday well over 2000. Scott got home and made fun of me for blowing any resemblance of a diet yesterday. What I am going to do, as per Scott's request is get groceries that will match what Nick (my brother) at on his diet when he lost over 100 lbs. Low calorie breakfast bars, turkey and salad stuffs. Yum... (I'm too sarcastic) Then maybe tomorrow I can force my butt to the gym.

Bad Lunch
No, I didn't have salad for lunch. Maybe just maybe I can just skip supper and get back on track with my calories.
1st day bLOG
I have to work tonight and can't go to the gym, which means that I should not have eaten blueberry biscuits and hash browns for breakfast, but I did. Sigh, maybe I can force myself to be satisfied with a salad for lunch. (Doubt it). WOW... I just looked on Burger King's web site, my little unhealthy meal was 890 calories, that's more than what most supermodels eat in a week. Maybe I can do leg lifts at my desk today, or something.

Stepping it up a notch will hopefully help me take it in a notch.
Okay, so I'm drawing inspiration from Julie and Julia (of course a movie about food). I am hoping that having something to report to every night will keep me on track with a diet, and hopefully (fingers crossed) this will help me get back to my old skinny self. Since I'll probably force everyone I know to read this (more incentive) I will try to give something back each night. What? As of right now I have no clue, but hopefully a place where my colleagues at the belly burning factory can get tips, and encouragement to get back into youthful shape.
So following suit with the legions of people trying to lose weight, I will let you know my daily routine in my currently losing battle. I am 25 and in less than five years I have tripled my pant size. Like almost everyone who gains weight over the years, I look back and can't find that point where I started gaining. I know why, I'm getting older, and I still eat like I'm sixteen and (well move in general) exercise often. Have you ever noticed how teenage girls are so... bouncy, they run everywhere, whether it's two feet or two miles, then when they stop they hop in place, or dance, or laugh. Can you imagine how many calories they are burning just by being happy? But since most normal adults would look at you like you were insane if you did that and didn't have pimples or braces, we as adults have try to use all that natural energy (at this point natural energy seems like a mystical land far far away) through a different medium. I am so sick of reading weight loss articles in women's magazines that say to do housework to lose weight, so yes you do burn more calories than if you were just sitting around watching your husband do the work, but it sucks! So what have I found to burn calories? For the past couple of months I have been going to the gym, and doing random exercises. I have been doing a class, running, using the elyptical, and doing light weight training. I take the Insanity class because I feel the most results the day after the class, I LOVE to run on the treadmill when I have some good music playing and I can just focus on the sounds blaring in my headphones. So I have been doing all these things for the past two months, and I have lost a total of.......... 0 pounds! I am so dissapointed. So desparate times call for desparate measures. I am going to be like the millions before me and whine to the general public about my weight in hopes that airing out my oversized dirty laundry will motivate me to suck it up... and suck in my tummy.
